The german course C1 is geared towards students with prior knowledge of German to B2 level. It deals with cultural and societal topics, such as art, psychology, science and globalisation. The extensive grammatical knowledge already acquired is consolidated and deepened.
You acquire the ability to express yourself spontaneously and fluently in German on practically all issues. You will be introduced to colloquial expressions and will learn to vary your language style in a targeted manner. You read demanding texts and extend your competence in the written area, in order to be able to argue with presentations or articles in a structured and effective manner. With the help of listening exercises, you learn to be able to follow native speakers over a longer period, for example in lectures.
The course concludes with the German C1 examination. Successful participation in the final examination is a pre-requisite for beginning a degree in Germany.
